Iqra Shah, Esq., Associate
Iqra Shah was born and raised in New York. She decided to pursue a career in personal injury law because she wanted to provide legal services to those that have been seriously injured by the negligence of another. Ms. Shah attended St. John’s University for her undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Legal Studies. At St. John’s University she was on the Dean’s List for all four years. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies she decided to attend law school at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She was accepted with a scholarship. Ms. Shah joined Alan Ripka & Associates, LLP, as a law school intern in September 2016. During her internship, she became familiar with all aspects of a case from intake to litigation.
After graduating law school and passing the bar, she has joined Alan Ripka & Associates as an Associate Attorney. Ms. Shah has worked on numerous automobile cases drafting legal pleadings and negotiating with adjusters. She is the head of the Specials Settlement Unit and has devoted herself to eagerly and passionately helping clients obtain fair outcomes and settlements.
